CalHealth has an issued U.S. Patent No. 7,066,890 (issued 6/27/06) entitled "Combined Computer Mouse and Blood Pressure Sphygmomanometer" which covers CalHealth's finger cuff Blood Pressure mouse system as well as other health-related measurement devices contained in and extended from a mouse to perform the measurement.

U.S. Patent No. 7,335,163 (issued 2/26/08) entitled "Combined Computer Mouse and Blood Pressure Sphygmomanometer" is directed more specifically to a wrist cuff version of the MDMouse(tm) device.  It allows for a wrist cuff type blood pressure measurement device to be stored within a computer mouse and accessible via an access door. The device will be placed around a user's wrist to measure the user's blood pressure.  The data will be automatically transferred to the computer to which the mouse is in communication.

CalHealth has pending patent applications in the U.S. and in many foreign countries relating to  MDMouse (tm) systems and to other health measurement-related inventions.
